Light warm planks with lots of character, Cannock Chase planks have been fumed, a process that changes the colour of the wood, but unlike a stain, runs through the woods wear layer. This process also results in colour variation between planks and as we have used European nature grade oak, there will also be a broad range of natural characteristics, such as knots and sap. This is a floor that really packs in character and personality. Each board has been carefully sanded to achieve a smooth, sleek look and has a hardened oil finish which gives a natural look with a subtle sheen. The outer layer is hardened to give added wear and splash resistance making it easy to maintain. Cannock Chase can be used with underfloor heating but is not recommended for use as as wall cladding.
